About the Event

Join us for a morning lecture series where we learn how to incorporate cooperative care in the veterinary setting. We will start by discussing behavior essentials, review appropriate terminology and learn ways to implement Applied Behavior Analysis, including video examples to rehearse methods. We will then set the stage for cooperative veterinary care and how to use distractions, desensitization, counterconditioning, and skill training, along with improving consent evaluation and communication between animals and caregivers. Lastly, we will discuss strategies to implement positive change in the hospital via communication with team members and supervisors in order to put these new skills to use.

ALL members of the veterinary team will benefit from this event!
