About the Event

Dr. Bass is a board-certified veterinarian within the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. He also serves on the American Association of Equine Practitioners Board of Directors. He graduated from CSU in 2007 and then completed an equine internship at Pioneer Equine Hospital in Oakdale, CA. After completion of the internship, he remained at Pioneer Equine Hospital as an associate veterinarian focusing on ambulatory practice, reproduction, lameness, and dentistry. After spending a year on the western slope with Colorado River Veterinary Services, Dr. Bass and his family decided to return to CSU as a faculty member in Equine Field Service where he focuses on equine ambulatory medicine and teaching of undergraduate equine science and veterinary students. In his spare time, Dr. Bass loves spending time with his family and friends, playing golf, and enjoying outdoor sports.
