This lecture will invite veterinarians to re-think concepts involved in inflammation, clinical immunology, and joint therapy. Inflammation resolution is not passive termination of inflammation, but an active mechanism driven by synovial macrophages, which is essential for the recovery of joint homeostasis and longevity of joint health.
